The pit lane of a racing track is a place where technical qualities are defining the victory. Technicians need to be able to do their work without distraction. Rolflex installed all doors for the boxes in the pit lane of the TT racing track in Assen, the Netherlands. All Compact doors have been fitted with sandwichpanels in our standard RAL colour RAL 9006 (grey aluminum)
The limited space the Compact door needs to be built in, made this door the ideal door in this project. As the Compact door folds up in the door opening and does not need any rails on the ceiling, the space inside can be maximised. No panels block the lights when doors are opened. This allows the teams to work without disturbance, both with open and closed doors.
